The Quality Engineering Chapter Lead - Practices & People plays a key leadership role in building a strong, inclusive, and highly capable Quality Engineering community. By shaping how people grow, belong, and deliver quality, this role directly supports Kingfisher’s purpose: Better Homes, Better Lives, For everyone ensuring our teams are supported to do their best work for customers and colleagues alike.

What’s the job?

• Shape and deliver the Chapter’s strategic and operational roadmap, aligned with Kingfisher Technology goals.

• Lead the people strategy, ensuring effective resourcing and strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships.

• Drive capability growth through reskilling, upskilling, recruitment, and leadership development.

• Elevate quality engineering standards and practices in line with industry best practice.

• Lead and support talent acquisition activity to meet Chapter and business needs.

• Able to author chapter wide policies and standards to ensure consistency and quality

• Support performance, career development, and succession planning across the Chapter.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in quality engineering and quality engineering practices would be beneficial.

• Proven leadership of large, multi-geography, multi-sourced engineering functions.

• Strong experience driving change in complex, fastmoving environments.

• Significant experience in global talent acquisition and workforce planning.

• Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching, and people leadership capability.
