What’s the job?
As a PIM Subject Matter Expert, you will help Kingfisher deliver high‑quality product data that supports our purpose: Better Homes, Better Lives, For Everyone. You will shape the technical setup and ongoing development of our Product Information Management (PIM) systems so colleagues and customers get accurate, timely product information across all channels. Your work will improve how our teams collect, manage, and use product data, enabling better decisions and better experiences.
- Deliver user acceptance testing (UAT) for new PIM developments and integrated systems.
- Create user guides, training materials, and deliver training to support new enhancements.
- Analyse business challenges and contribute to requirements that improve the customer experience.
- Investigate and resolve issues impacting PIM users, working with Data Business Support as needed.
- Communicate risks, requirements, and mitigation plans clearly and proactively. Support consistent PIM governance, ways of working, and continuous improvement across channels.
- Collaborate with PIM specialists and stakeholders across the Group to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
What you’ll bring - Experience as a STEP PIM user with strong understanding of PIM processes and system capabilities.
- Knowledge of STEP Workbench configuration, JavaScript, and STEP API.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can engage at all levels and deliver effective training.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage deadlines in a fast‑changing environment.
