As a Group Supply Chain Centre of Excellence Specialist, you will help strengthen Kingfisher’s end‑to‑end supply chain capability to support our purpose: Better Homes, Better Lives, For Everyone. You will contribute to initiatives that improve how products flow from suppliers to customers, ensuring our operations remain efficient, resilient and customer‑focused. Your work will help create better experiences for the millions of people who rely on us to make home improvement accessible. This is a fixed term contract.
What’s the job?
- Provide subject matter expertise across demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory control and vendor relations.
- Work collaboratively with Group and Banner Supply Chain teams to strengthen capability and share best practice.
- Lead and support projects that improve supply chain efficiency and deliver high‑quality outcomes with measurable benefits.
- Ensure solution designs meet functional and technical requirements.
- Proactively manage and communicate progress, including risks and dependencies.
- Analyse data and operational information to support decision‑making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Commit to continuous professional development, staying updated on emerging supply chain best practices.
What you’ll bring - Expertise in end‑to‑end supply chain processes, including forecasting, planning, inventory control and vendor relations.
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel and supply chain systems (SAP knowledge an advantage).
- Experience in retail supply chain operations and delivering transformation initiatives.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to solve operational problems using functional expertise.
- Effective stakeholder management and clear communication across teams.
