Role Overview
Kazaar is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to spearhead and drive the company's growth. This entrepreneurial and revenue-focused leader will be responsible for defining and executing the overall revenue growth strategy. The CRO will lead the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves close collaboration with the leadership team to strategically position Kazaar as the category-defining platform for offline marketing operation management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Business & Sales Channels
Identify and Define Offers: Determine various sales channels (Indirect via Altavia group entities and partners; Direct) and define corresponding offers.
Structure and Deploy Sales Force:
Create a sales force deployment plan to prospect, close, and develop business with major retailers and FMCGs globally, identifying necessary tools and resources.
Implement this plan, including setting KPIs and establishing tools for prospecting and business monitoring.
Establish incentive programs for partners and the internal team.
Acquire Initial Clients: Close the first direct clients, supported by the establishment of a comprehensive sales playbook and materials (1 p today)
Market the Offer
Define, implement, and monitor a marketing plan, including necessary tools, resources, and KPIs for tracking marketing actions. (2 p today)
Grow Clients (Customer Success & Revenue Maximization)
Implement Global Customer Success Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy focused on maximizing satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth on the marketplace, encompassing:
Client onboarding and continuous monitoring/support.
Identification of new needs regarding features and product catalog.
Driving Upsell and Cross-sell opportunities.
Manage Customer Success Team (6 p today): Train, manage, and supervise a transversal and international team of Customer Success Managers, leveraging Altavia group entities.
Monitor Performance and Data: Define and track key customer satisfaction KPIs (NPS, retention, churn, upsell, cross-sell). Collect extensive data on customer relationships for real-time alert and opportunity detection.
Maximize Contract Revenue: Define strategy to maximize revenues from client contracts.
Establish Customer Advisory Board: Set up and run a Customer Advisory Board.
Strategic & Product Collaboration
Contribute to Strategic Planning: Participate in constructing the Kazaar Business Plan, market studies, and defining the pricing policy.
Inform Product Development: Collect client needs and collaborate with the product and tech teams to identify and prioritize features aimed at improving user experience and meeting client requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record as a senior sales leader (VP Sales, Head of sales, or CRO), in B2B SaaS for big international brands with an international footprint.
Experience building and scaling business and revenues that manage complex operations, workflows, or Campaigns, and that incorporate AI.
Data-informed decision-maker, balancing quantitative insights with qualitative understanding.
Strong leadership skills with experience scaling and mentoring high-caliber sales, marketing and customer success teams.
Entrepreneurial spirit and bias for action — comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Comprehensive marketing expertise.
Successful experience implementing a CRM and CSM tool stack for sales and customer satisfaction (NPS, client feedback, reporting, etc.).
Organized, meticulous, and proactive; demonstrating the ability to successfully complete diverse projects and initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and storytelling skills, both written and oral, in French and English.
Fluency in both English and French is required. Experience with an additional foreign language and working in multiple countries would be highly beneficial.
Nice to Have
Experience with platforms that bridge online and offline customer experiences, marketplace BtoB or eprocurement platform
Has participated in the transition from start-up to scale-up.
