Kactus is looking for a Venue Finder Intern to join the team!
Working closely with the Sales and Event teams, you will take part in researching, negotiating, and selecting the most suitable venues and suppliers to meet our clients’ specific needs, in France and internationally.
Your mission: quickly identify the best options, build tailored proposals, and ensure a smooth, responsive, and inspiring client experience.
As part of the team, your main responsibilities will include:
Hidden Gems Hunter
Identify and source with agility the most exclusive venues and suppliers in France and abroad (hotels, rooftops, unique venues, team-building activities).
High-Level Negotiator
You are responsible for your clients’ budgets and profitability. Your goal? Challenge partners and negotiate firmly to secure the best commercial and contractual terms.
Convince & Engage
Present your selections enthusiastically to your project manager counterpart and turn their needs into outstanding, tailor-made proposals.
Project Coordination
Ensure rigorous and responsive follow-up to guarantee a seamless client experience, from the first call to contract signing.

Currently enrolled in a degree in Business, Hospitality or Event Management (4th or 5th year), you want to develop your sourcing and negotiation skills in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
Full fluency in both French and German is mandatory. You will work daily with French and German-speaking partners and must be fully comfortable negotiating and communicating in both languages.
This role is for you if:
You are bilingual French / German: You can confidently handle negotiations, calls, and written communication with partners in France and Germany.
You have a “student association” mindset: You have experience in student organizations or an initial experience in events or sales. You know what it means to organize, bring people together, and find solutions when things get stuck.
The phone is your best friend: You are impactful verbally, build rapport easily, and don’t give up until you reach a concrete outcome.
You’re a negotiation “Sherlock”: Curious and sharp, you know how to uncover great deals where others don’t look.
Structured yet agile: You can manage multiple projects at the same time without losing track — organization is your superpower.
International mindset: You are comfortable negotiating seminars and events in Germany (and potentially other German-speaking markets).
