Jus Mundi is looking for an International Finance Controller to join our growing team and support the CFO in managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company across France, the Americas, and APAC.
As an International Finance Controller, you’ll play a key role in structuring and scaling our finance function in a global context, supporting the company’s continued international growth. You’ll be part of our Finance & Operations team, dedicated to ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and strategic decision-making support across the organization. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional partners in Legal, People, Sales, and Operations.
In this role, you will:
Lead expense-side budgeting and reforecasting
Own monthly and quarterly variance analysis (actual vs budget)
Contribute to cash flow and working capital monitoring
Provide strategic input on FP&A, particularly regarding tax and international expansion
Oversee monthly and year-end closings with local accountants
Manage multi-entity and multi-currency accounting (France, US, Singapore)
Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with ASC 606
Implement and enforce internal expense policies and budget controls
Coordinate internal and statutory audits
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all legal entities
Lead development and enhancement of global accounting and taxation policies
Ensure compliance with international tax regulations (VAT, sales tax, withholding tax)
Oversee tax filings, coordinate with advisors, and manage tax audits
Develop and implement international tax strategies
Support intercompany billing and transfer pricing
Improve process automation (invoice matching, approval routing, etc.)
Maintain clear internal documentation of financial processes
You’ll be empowered to build scalable finance operations and compliance frameworks that support our global ambitions and mission to bring legal intelligence to everyone.
6+ years of experience in finance, audit, or accounting, ideally in a startup or fast-growth environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and controlling practices
Understanding of international tax regulations (VAT, sales tax, withholding tax)
Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency setups
Highly structured and autonomous, with the ability to own projects end-to-end
Excellent prioritization and time management skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills in English and French
