Job description

At Jolimoi, we’re reinventing beauty discovery through a multi-brand social selling platform powered by a passionate community of independent stylists. Our mission: help everyone find the products that reveal their beauty, through a personalized, human, and transparent experience.

We’re entering a strategic phase with major technical revamp projects (e-commerce stack, internal tools, architecture), making it the perfect time to join the team and contribute directly to meaningful changes.

As Engineering Manager at Jolimoi, you will lead our engineering team through a phase of scale-up and transformation. You will be responsible for team structure, tech quality, and efficient delivery across multiple platforms and tools.

You will report directly to the CPTO, work closely with Product, Data, and Design, and play a key role in turning Jolimoi’s social commerce vision into reality — in beauty and beyond.

🛠 Product environment at Jolimoi

Our teams design and develop several interconnected products:

  • 📱 A mobile app for both stylists and customers (in development)

  • 🛍 An e-commerce platform

  • 🧰 A SaaS application for stylists (activity management, coaching, recommendation)

  • 🧑‍💼 A back-office for internal teams

  • 📊 An analytics tool stack

🎯 Your missions

  • Grow and lead the engineering team: recruit, structure, and mentor a team of full-stack and lead developers in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

  • Manage the team : 2 lead devs, 4 dev full stack, 1 infra engineer

  • Ensure quality and delivery: build robust engineering practices, ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines, and keep technical debt under control.

  • Architect scalable systems: own architecture decisions across our core platforms and integrations (including e-commerce and business tools).

  • Drive a strong engineering culture: promote best practices in code quality, testing, documentation, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Collaborate across teams: work tightly with Product Managers and Designers to align priorities and ensure fast, high-quality delivery.

  • Contribute to tech strategy: advise the CPTO on scaling infrastructure, buy-vs-build decisions, data security, and technical innovation (e.g., AI, AR, personalization).
