The position

Job description

At Joko, we help consumers shop smarter. Our mission is to revolutionize shopping—empowering people to find what they need, make informed decisions, and save money.

Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 80 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 4 million users already save money every day at 7,000+ merchants with Joko.

From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts and carbon tracking, we keep expanding our products to make shopping smarter. We’re now building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and impact.

Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally — with a strong focus on the US.
It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!

This position is Paris-based.

☎️ Our B2B team

“Nothing stops them from getting the best deals for Joko users. The B2B team’s mission is to develop and grow Joko’s brands network, and available offers.”

The B2B team is divided between our three business lines at Joko: Online, Card-Linked, and Gift Cards.

  • The Online team is responsible for expanding and managing our portfolio of leading e-commerce retailers, both directly and via affiliate marketing platforms

  • The Card-Linked team is responsible for negotiating and signing enterprise partnerships with top-tier physical retailers, and for strengthening these long-term relationships over time

  • The Gift Cards team is responsible for building and managing a broad portfolio of brands and retailers, partnering with providers and brands to drive growth

Led by Nicolas, our CRO, we are a vibrant team full of energy! We work closely with other teams to give the best experience to our partners and build strong long-term relationships. We are a small but unstoppable squad that manages millions of euros in contracts thanks to our outstanding team members and a deep sense of camaraderie. We don't take ourselves too seriously and make sure that the journey is a blast!

🎯 What you will do

As a Business Associate Intern, your mission will be to support the Online B2B team to grow Joko’s e-commerce business in France and abroad : with a strong focus on our upcoming US expansion.

Your responsibilities will revolve around three main pillars:

  • Develop and manage partnerships: Grow your own portfolio of leading brands, negotiate commercial deals and promotional campaigns, and ensure top-quality relationships with our strategic partners

  • Drive growth through data insights and operations: Track key performance and operational indicators to anticipate issues, optimize campaigns, and support business decisions. Collaborate closely with the marketing and data teams to analyze results and translate insights into actionable recommendations, while also contributing to new product launches (e.g. Buy Now Pay Later, Joko AI, automatic coupons, etc.)

  • Support international expansion: Take part in integrating Joko into local affiliate networks, help launch commercial relations in new markets, especially in the US, and adapt strategies to different geographies

👀 Who we're looking for

  • Education: You are enrolled in a top engineering, business school (or equivalent).

  • Experience: You are looking for an end-of-studies 6-month internship (or a second gap-year internship) and you have at least 6 months of prior experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment, tech, or consulting.

  • Problem solver: You are pragmatic and know how to solve problems quickly.

  • Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges and you like getting hands-on.

  • Autonomy: You are fully autonomous and able to manage complex projects from A to Z.

  • Languages: You have to be a fluent French speaker, but also at ease in English both written and spoken, as we are expanding internationally soon.

On top of that, we offer plenty of perks (some for everyone, others only for full-time positions):

  • A budget for remote work equipment

  • A Swile card for meals (if you are based in France)

  • Frequent team events and in-person gatherings every quarter 🎉

  • Premium health insurance (Alan Blue, in France) → full-time only
