The position

Job description

🌏 Context

In order to strengthen the design pole of our product management and quality team, we are looking for a junior UI/UX Designer wishing to participate in the development of our design system and to design and improve our product interfaces. You will work in collaboration and transversally with our product & development teams as well as other designer teams.

💼 Missions

Supported by our Lead Product Designer, you will work in close collaboration with the members of the Product team (Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, Software Developers, QA Engineers, etc.) as well as other design teams in order to carry out the following missions in Product Design (UI~80%/UX~20%):

Contribute to the creation and improvement of our product interfaces

  • Support product team to explore problems and design solutions

  • Work as a close team with the developers and product owners in the framework of an Agile method (Scrum)

  • Wireframe and design new features

  • Work closely with developers to ensure correct implementation and quality

Participate to the creation, deployment and improvement of our design system

  • Contribute to design and promote guidelines, best practices, and standards

  • Design new components and variations

  • Work closely with developers to ensure consistency through our interfaces

🤝 How we work

Driven by the Agile Scrum method, we are organized in squads of 6-8 people featuring a Product Owner, a Lead Developer (acting as a Scrum Master), Developers (frontend & backend) and QA Engineers. On top of them, our DevOps Engineers and UI/UX Designers are working transversally for all squads.

Preferred experience

🎯 Required

  • 2 years minimum of relevant experience as a UI/UX Designer on digital products.

  • Experience in creating or working with design systems.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

  • Ability to interact with technical and business experts.

  • Familiar with user research.

  • Strong capacity for organisation and autonomy.

🍒 Nice to have

  • Past professional experience in a publishing company or in an agile context.

  • Team player, curious with remarkable listening and teaching capacities.

  • Understanding of general development processes, technologies, and frameworks.


Recruitment process

1️⃣ Meet Jonathan, our HR Manager, to ensure alignment between our job offer and your professional project, expectations, mobility, availability, etc. (30 min)

2️⃣ Meet our UI/UX Designer to focus on the job skills and see how you could work together. (30 min)

3️⃣ Go through a home exercise (estimated duration: 2-3h, to be completed within a week) followed by a debriefing session with our UI/UX Designer and QA/Product Manager. (90 min)
