You are a key leader and the first point of contact for your team and clients, supporting them in taking back control of their international payment processes and giving them insight into the FX market. By guiding your team and clients through the world of currencies, rates, and hedging strategies, you help reduce risks, strengthen trust, and drive growth.

By providing clients with insights into exchange rates, multi-currency payments, and hedging, you give them the confidence to strengthen and expand their international presence.

What will you do?

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of FX Sales professionals to achieve their individual and collective goals.
  • Build and maintain a strong network in the Italian market, identifying new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your clients, supporting them in managing FX exposure and international payment strategies.
  • Drive performance through clear objectives, ongoing coaching, and development of your team’s consultative sales and market expertise.
  • Ensure accurate management of client relationships and data in the CRM system, providing reliable forecasts and visibility on the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Management, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure an outstanding client experience.
  • Represent ibanFirst at client meetings, events, and industry gatherings, reinforcing our brand and expanding our presence in Italy.

What do you bring?

  • 3-5  years of experience in FX sales, corporate banking, or B2B environment, with proven success in team leadership or desk management.
  • Strong knowledge of the FX market, hedging instruments, and international payments.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships and driving sales with CFOs, Heads of Finance, and other senior finance executives will be highly valued.
  • A solid network and portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Native in Italian and English.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, capable of identifying opportunities and optimizing team performance.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire others in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

You are a self-starter who takes initiative and continuously challenges yourself and your team to deliver excellence. You use your analytical insight and experience to strengthen our sales strategy and drive growth for ibanFirst in Italy.
