We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team and play a key role in shaping the future of Hivebrite. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own major parts of the user experience, collaborate cross-functionally across the organization, and mentor others. You’ll champion best practices, drive design excellence, and ensure that every interaction across our platform is thoughtful, accessible, and aligned with our vision.

You are autonomous, proactive, and comfortable leading design initiatives that span across teams and departments.

Over the past year, we have built and fully deployed a robust design system that ensures consistency, scalability, and a high-quality user experience across our platform. We’ve vastly diminished technical debt, introduced an advanced theming system that allows our clients greater customization, and laid a strong foundation for future growth. Today, we are accelerating initiatives aimed at boosting both admin efficiency and user engagement. 🌟 YOUR MISSION WILL BE: 

• Drive Product Design: Drive end-to-end UX design for our SaaS product, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final UI.
• Innovate with New Technologies: Proactively explore and integrate emerging technologies — such as AI — into both our design processes and product experiences, helping the team adapt the way we work, increase efficiency, and create more impactful solutions for our clients.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Lead projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring deadlines, priorities, and deliverables are met. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex business needs into intuitive user experiences.
• Mentor & Coach: Actively support and mentor less experienced designers, fostering a culture of growth, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Design Advocacy: Champion accessibility standards, UX best practices, design consistency, and the expansion of our design system across squads and tribes.
• Discovery & Research: Plan and conduct user research, interviews, usability tests, and workshops to inform product decisions.
• Strategic Thinking: Align design vision and outcomes with long-term business goals and customer needs, and advocate for design at every stage of the product development process.
• Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for process improvements, run audits that extend beyond your immediate scope, and push the team toward operational excellence. 
• Design Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in user experience (UX), providing the team with deep knowledge of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new technologies, sharing insights with the broader team to keep our work innovative and relevant.

You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring fresh, user-centered ideas to the table, with a sharp eye for UX best practices and innovation. You have 5+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within a SaaS or B2B environment.

We’re looking for someone who already leverages AI in their work and sees its potential to accelerate impact across the product development process.
• Experience applying data-informed design practices — leveraging product analytics, user behavior insights, and research findings to drive design decisions
• Autonomy: Proven ability to independently lead projects from concept to execution.
• Expertise: Advanced skills in user-centered design methodologies, Figma, design systems management, and accessibility standards.
• Leadership: Experience mentoring or coaching other designers; strong collaborator and communicator.
• Research Savvy: Comfortable running discovery processes, facilitating workshops, conducting user interviews, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to connect design solutions to business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
• Strong Communication: Able to clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels in English, including leadership.
