🌟 YOUR ROLE WILL BE

  • As a mobile developer, and as any software engineer working at Hivebrite, your primary goal is to design, maintain & advance our mobile app.
  • Our mobile app is primarily built using a web view approach. Our main goal is to rebuild the app using React Native. Initially, we will start with the homepage in native, and subsequently, we will revamp modules such as groups, events, live feed, news, and the media center.
  • You will be working alongside a 7-people team focused on mobile development.

    • 🌟 YOUR MISSION WILL BE

  • Take ownership and gain responsibilities on critical features or projects the mobile is responsible for.
  • Improve our mobile DX, UI and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
  • Build and enhance our existent architecture.
  • Help us to bring our testing strategy quality to the next level (E2E, Unit tests, ...).
  • Participate in the creation of our mobile design system.

    • 🌟 YOU MIGHT BE A FIT

  • At least five years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge on React Native, React Query, debugging tool like Flipper.
  • Experience with Xcode and/or Android Studio.
  • You worked on mobile offline mode.
  • Experience working in a very fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
  • You have good oral and written communication in English. 🇺🇸

  • Worked on shared modules with web and mobile using React-Native-Web.
  • Experience with deep links and push notifications.
  • Worked on developing a web app in the mobile context (both native and mobile browser/web view components).
