The position

Job description

We are looking for a Business Associate to support the structuration of and execute the Go to Market Strategy. As a first employee, you will have the opportunity to work on strategy, growth, partnerships and sales directly with the Co-Founder and CEO. Working hand in hand with the founders will give you access to a unique work experience: get immersed in the startup creation process, face and solve strategic and practical business challenges, get a central role in the exciting early stages of a company, work closely with tech, product, and marketing teams.

Your responsibilities as Business Associate :

  • Support the ongoing structuration and adjustment of the Go to Market Strategy

  • Support the structuration of the international expansion (first focus Belgium, Germany)

  • Expand and automatize lead generation and qualification across channels (creating inbound conversion funnels, leading outbound prospection, creating a product-led growth motion)

  • Identify and build the relevant partnerships to conquer the ecosystem on prioritized asset classes (with lawyers, incubators, clubs of BA)

  • Recruit and coordinate with the content marketing team (freelances) to execute the marketing strategy (already shaped/defined)

  • Support building of company and commercial/partnership presentations

  • Build and manage events to connect with our ecosystem

  • On an ad hoc basis conduct sales calls to support business expansion

  • Ensure a continuous business watch to always have an up-to-date competitive landscape

  • High-caliber stakeholders - you will interact with top European Business Angels, Venture capital Partners, and lawyers.

  • Challenging target audience - you will need to develop very high-quality content.

  • Complex regulatory framework in Europe.

  • Multi-geography approach


Preferred experience

  • Education: You graduated from a top business or engineering school

  • Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in challenging environments/business development positions (e.g VC firms, high growth start-up)

  • Language: You speak French and English perfectly

  • Interest: You have experience or a genuine interest in angel investing, private investment and the venture capital /private equity world.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments where you have broad responsibilities

  • Ownership mentality: you are a doer and have a bias for action, no task is below you

  • Organization skills: you know how to prioritize and split your tasks efficiently.

  • Team player: you enjoy sharing and learning from each other

  • Initiative and innovation: you have a strong willingness to make thing change and you don’t hesitate to challenge and suggest new practices.

  • Customer focus: you enjoy solving customer problems

  • Strong attention to detail: you are able to rigorously manage processes involving multiple stakeholders to handle
