As Hello Tomorrow evolves, we are looking for a Director of Ecosystem & Events to drive strategic business development, elevate our event portfolio, and strengthen our global ecosystem engagement.
YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Director of Ecosystem & Events, you will play a critical role in leading the world’s largest deep tech innovation network & flagship summit. You will also shape and execute the strategy of one of Hello Tomorrow’s main activities and most critical assets.
You will be responsible for:
Event Strategy & Vision
Define and oversee the strategic vision for Deep Tech Days 2026, ensuring alignment across all event & ecosystem activities with Hello Tomorrow’s mission, objectives and values.
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and pricing strategies, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
Identify opportunities to strengthen our event activities.
Ensure a seamless, high-impact experience by coordinating key stakeholders, guiding the event narrative, and maintaining a unified vision across all elements.
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
Define the strategic vision for the Ecosystem & Events department in alignment with Hello Tomorrow’s mission and growth objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, investors, startups, and policymakers.
Identify and execute high-impact business development opportunities (e.g., strategic partnerships, new revenue-generating initiatives, international expansion).
Contribute to the improvement of the existing business model of the department to maximise the impact and profitability of existing activities and assets in alignment with Hello Tomorrow’s mission, objectives and values.
Contribute to company-wide decisions, influencing strategic initiatives beyond the department.
Team Leadership
Lead and inspire an amazing team of 10 people (4 direct reports), fostering a culture of empowerment, cross-functional collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship, career development support, and clear priority setting for the team.
Operational Efficiency & Growth
Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and team productivity.
Strengthen synergies between different business units by coordinating with the leadership team and ensuring alignment in a 360° view of Hello Tomorrow’s activities.
Implement best practices for financial oversight, reporting, and performance tracking.
You have at least 10 years of experience in event management or ecosystem building, in the deep tech, innovation, or startup ecosystem.
You have a proven track record of leading large-scale events (2,000+ attendees) and/or driving revenue growth through partnerships and ecosystem engagement.
You have previous leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Experience working with strategic partnerships, business development, and community engagement is highly valued.

You are fluent in English. French is a plus.

This job is not for you if
You prefer working in a highly structured, routine environment over a dynamic and fast-paced one.
You can’t work in Paris (2 days per week on-site).
You don’t have a strong interest in deep tech, innovation and the startup ecosystem.
You are unwilling or unable to travel occasionally for projects, events, or ecosystem engagements.
You do not enjoy working in an international, multicultural environment where agility, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration are key.

Gross salary 90-100K€ with a performance-based incentive on top
Full-time contract (CDI), starting in September 2025
