The position

Job description

We are looking for our future Account Consultant to join the team managing major international accounts, communicating in France and globally, across digital and offline channels.

With prior experience in media, the future Account Executive will be responsible for coordinating local teams around client expectations, planning and reporting media activity for digital and offline campaigns under the supervision of their manager.

MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination

  • Contribute to the supervision and coordination of local agencies
  • Stay informed about local news, major campaigns, and market-related events concerning clients
  • Communicate key information, global projects, and important deadlines to local agencies
  • Harmonize working methods and deliverables across local agencies

Strategy

  • Contribute to drafting and presenting annual strategies, recommendations, and media guidelines
  • Ensure quality operational follow-up while respecting deadlines
  • Check compliance with guidelines in deliverables provided by local teams
  • Challenge their feedback and ensure consistency in strategy and recommendations

Commercial

  • Participate in preparing meeting reports
  • Attend regular meetings with the central client and contribute to action follow-up (worklists)
  • Ensure client satisfaction regarding campaign delivery and performance

Operational

  • Develop media plans for centrally bought campaigns
  • Implement operational management processes (billing, quote validation, dispute follow-up)
  • Monitor and encourage local agencies to use the agency’s tools (client space, dashboards)
  • Contribute to analyzing competitors’ media strategies and investments

Management

  • Coordinate and manage Business Unit teams (Expertise, Insights, Content consultants) to provide clients with effective and relevant media strategy recommendations and operations
  • Direct management of an intern
EXPERIENCE
  • 2 years of experience in a media agency, ideally in consulting or buying
  • Digital expertise is a strong plus
SKILLS
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (essential for this role)
  • Good understanding of marketing/media concepts
  • Organization, rigor, attention to detail
  • Ability to work with numbers
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy
  • Commercial sense, autonomy, perseverance
  • Proactivity, responsiveness, availability

LANGUAGES

English & French are both must-haves
