Location (Flexible Tokyo): This role requires proximity to an office location with the flexibility to work from home

GoPro is seeking a Japan marketing coordinator. This person will support the Japan marketing team and will have the opportunity to learn from all team members. This person needs to be organized, have excellent project management skills, an understanding and appreciation of our core activity verticals, proficient writing skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Flexibility to work weekends to support events. This an excellent entry level opportunity to be part of a globally recognized brand and to support marketing efforts Japan.

What You Will Do

• Help define and participate in the development of our marketing plans and initiatives, including sports marketing efforts, social media, and influencer marketing campaigns.
• Support the building and delivering of key marketing activity reports.
• Assist with the authentication of athletes and influencers in our social media measurement reporting tools.
• Utilize our tools to track, analyze, and report on the social media metrics for sponsored athletes and influencers — assist in Weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist with our sponsored events recap reports.
• Assist with coordination and communication with our key resort partners including site visits to ensure GoPro branding is properly executed.
• Support marketing operations with product ordering and shipping products to support marketing efforts.
• Marketing promo inventory management and communication with a warehouse.
• Support onsite marketing events including helping with event tent/booth setup and interfacing with event visitors.
• Support product training initiatives including onsite support at key retail and distributor training events as well as maintaining our Learning Management System software.

Skills We're Stoked About

• A passion for one of GoPro’s key activity segments (such as snowboarding or traveling, or motorsports, etc.)
• Zero to 2 years of working experience
• A meticulous attention to detail and excitement around building marketing activity reports.
• Willingness to work hard and to support operational tasks
• Ability to Project manage, multitask, and work in an autonomous environment with little direction or supervision
• Open to travel both domestically and internationally
• Willingness to work on some weekends
• Professional working proficiency or higher in English and native level proficiency in Japanese
