We are looking for an Forward Deployed Engineer who is excited to transition from pure coding to a more business-oriented and impactful role. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and client interaction, helping Gladia win deals and deliver cutting-edge solutions for our customers.

Role

• Design, build, and deploy custom integrations and prototypes using Gladia’s AI APIs (speech-to-text, embeddings, diarization...).

• Work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges, propose architectures, implement solutions, identifying friction points and suggesting enhancements.

• Collaborate with the sales team to join calls with clients, being the technical voice.

• Build reference implementations, SDKs, and tooling that make our APIs easier to adopt and scale.

• Collaborate with product and engineering to improve developer experience, performance, and new API features.

• Support early-stage POCs, benchmarking, and production deployments in close partnership with client engineering teams.

• Occasionally contribute to internal demos, hackathons, and documentation.

Profile

• 3–6+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or applied AI

• Strong coding skills in Python or Typescript, with experience building and consuming REST APIs

• Client-focused mindset: You’re excited to interact with customers and provide solutions to real-world problems.

• Strong technical problem-solving skills: Ability to read and debug code to understand client issues and recommend the best integration strategies.

• Business acumen: Comfort working in a sales-driven environment and helping close deals by showcasing the technical value of Gladia’s solutions.

• Passion for AI: An interest in speech-to-text, audio intelligence, or machine learning is a big plus.

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What Gladia offers

• The compensation offered is based on seniority and experience, and would typically range from €45K to €70K in base salary + commission + BSPCE (with Strike Price).
