  • Standardize, document, and optimize key procedures in collaboration with scientists and project leads

  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of lab organization systems (sample tracking, reagent inventory, instrument readiness, etc.)

  • Play a key role in structuring operational processes to support scale-up of the discovery platform

  • Participate in the project designed for streamline workflows optimization, by using Lean six sigma and continuous improvement techniques to increase the efficiency, reduce variability, and improve traceability and visibility

  • Assist in training junior technicians and enforcing lab best practices

  • Participate in internal quality control and reproducibility monitoring efforts

  • Education: BTS, DUT, or equivalent in biotechnology, analytical chemistry, microbiology, or related field

  • Technical excellence: Robust hands-on experience across the microbial production pipeline, including isolation and transformation of strains, molecular biology workflows (DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing), cloning and fermentation, and organic extraction of microbial cultures to recover bioactive small molecules.

  • Analytical & Process mindset: continuous improvement, or lab QA/QC processes

  • Autonomy & precision: Proven ability to deliver clean, reproducible results in a fast-paced setting

  • Communication: Clear, concise communicator; comfortable documenting processes in French or English

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with evolving priorities

Bonus

  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles,

  • Openness to potential mobility depending on our future site (2027)
