    Job Description

    As a Senior Gameplay Programmer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing core gameplay systems for our upcoming project built with Unreal Engine. Your work will directly influence the feel, clarity, and responsiveness of the game experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement gameplay features (camera, controls, character mechanics, in-game UI, interactions, etc.)
    • Translate game design intentions into reliable, polished, and maintainable systems
    • Contribute to architecture decisions and coding standards within the gameplay team
    • Ensure performance, stability, and scalability of gameplay code
    • Collaborate closely with Game Design, Animation, Art, QA, and other programming teams

    You will report to the Lead Programmer and operate as part of a multidisciplinary development team.


    Preferred experience

    Required

    • Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Gameplay Programmer in a game development studio
    • Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5)
    • Proven track record delivering gameplay features on a released or live project (mobile, F2P, AA, AAA, etc.)
    • Solid understanding of software architecture, optimization, debugging, and best practices
    • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across disciplines

    Nice to have

    • Experience with multiplayer systems
    • Profiling and advanced optimization skills
    • Experience working with Perforce
