We’re looking for an IT Systems & Operations Manager to join our team and build a seamless, secure, and scalable IT environment across our global workforce. You’ll define best practices for IT management and employee experience while also rolling up your sleeves to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. From laptop procurement and security setup to troubleshooting access issues and managing global inventory, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping our systems secure, efficient, and employee-friendly.
You’ll work closely with People, Finance, and Security teams, ensuring every employee—whether in France, Europe, APAC, or North America—has the right tools, access, and support to be productive from day one.
Laptop & Equipment Lifecycle Management – Oversee procurement, setup, global shipping, encryption, and secure disposal of devices.
Access & Identity Management – Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols across systems, ensuring compliance with global best practices.
Security & Compliance – Implement and enforce standards such as full-disk encryption, remote lock/wipe, and device monitoring.
Troubleshooting & Support – Act as the first line of IT support for employees worldwide, resolving issues related to accounts, devices, and connectivity.
Inventory, SaaS & Vendor Management – Track and optimize hardware/software inventory, manage SaaS licenses, negotiate with vendors, and streamline procurement processes.
Endpoint & Device Management – Administer MDM/endpoint management tools to enforce policies, push updates, and manage devices remotely.
Onboarding & Offboarding Automation – Own IT workflows for new hires and leavers, ensuring smooth setup, access provisioning, deactivation, and secure device return.
Process & Policy Development – Define IT standards and processes that balance security, scalability, and a frictionless employee experience.
Business Continuity & Recovery – Support disaster recovery readiness by ensuring IT systems and processes enable employees to recover quickly from lost devices or outages.
Continuous Improvement – Regularly review tools, systems, and workflows to propose and implement more efficient and effective IT solutions.
Collaboration – Partner with People Ops and Onboarding to ensure new hires receive fully set-up devices and secure system access on day one.
Reporting to Chief People Officer
Collaborating with employees globally, and with People, Finance and Security teams
5+ years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or similar roles with both strategic and operational scope.
Proven ability to design and implement IT processes in a scale-up company across global, and distributed teams.
Strong expertise in device lifecycle management, access/identity management, and security best practices (e.g., encryption, remote lock/wipe, SSO, MFA).
Comfortable managing hardware procurement and vendor relationships across multiple regions (EU, NA, APAC).
Experience with cloud-based productivity suites (Microsoft 365 preferred), endpoint management tools, and ticketing systems.
Comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment with colleagues across time zones.
High level of autonomy, ownership, and problem-solving with a focus on employee experience.
Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR) and/or background in scaling IT operations in a growing global company.
Experience with automations to streamline IT processes.
Bonus: familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices (not a core security role but able to collaborate effectively with security stakeholders)
