Notre histoire
L’histoire d’Exotec démarre en 2014, dans le bus qui amène les futurs co-fondateurs Romain Moulin et Renaud Heitz à leur travail chez General Electric Medical. Une nouvelle vient alors d’émerger dans le monde de l’intralogistique : Amazon décide de garder la technologie révolutionnaire de robots KIVA pour ses entrepôts. Cette annonce résonne chez les deux ingénieurs qui après réflexion décident de faire mieux : concevoir un système robotisé de préparation de commande avec une flotte de robots capables de se déplacer en trois dimensions. C’est ainsi que le Skypod est né.

Good to know
After successfully implementing large-scale Skypod systems for major French customers (Cdiscount, Showroomprivé, Carrefour, Leclerc...), Exotec’s ambitions for 2020 are to reach a total of 200 co-workers, double the production of robots and deploy in Europe and Japan.
