We are looking for a motivated German-speaking Sales Assistant to join our team in Thailand. You will be the person who receives traveler requests via the Evaneos platform and you will be the main contact for travelers in the DACH market. Your main tasks will be:

• Process customer requests by email for holidays until the journey is booked;

• Write holiday tour programs based on customer wishes;

• Process bookings according our internal procedures;

• Communicate autonomously with customers by email and phone calls;

• Main contact for clients to determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences: tailor-made itineraries

• Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities

• Responsible for billing the travelers

• Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds

• Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour operators

• Quality monitoring during the trip

Duration & contract type: local contract for indefinite period (full time employee)

Location: Khon Kaen, Thailand

Availability (Starting dates): per immediately

Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 Baht per month plus bonus on realized sales

Working time: Salary based on 44 - 48 working hours per week. Working times are flexible

• Thai or German or Dutch nationality

• Living in Thailand or willing to relocate to Thailand

• Have a good understanding of traveler’s expectations

• Age 30+ (no student), stability needed

• Higher vocational education (3 years after high school)

• Good German and English language skills (speak, read, write), Dutch speaking would be a plus but is not required

• Experience with MS Word, Internet and Email

• Experience in sales or customer service

• Empathic, communicative and friendly, understanding traveler expectations

• Pragmatic and conceptual thinking

• Accurate with eye for details

• Knowledge of Thailand as holiday destination

• Team player, enjoy working in a team, possess the internal drive to help and support each other. Personality is important. We don’t need egos but wholehearted team players without fear of sharing responsibility, helping and supporting each other

• Already living in the vicinity of Khonkaen city or willing to relocate
