Internal audit is one of the 4 key functions defined by the Solvency 2 Directive. Reporting directly to General Management, internal audit ensures the management of the company’s risks. Management is organized around a CoDir (Director, managers) and the Audit team (Audit leader and auditors). Based on its autonomy and its ability to adapt, the auditor takes part in audit activities in accordance with the Group’s audit methodology:
• On the basis of a risk assessment, participation in the development of the audit plan
• Execution of the audit plan with performance of audit engagements
• Monitoring of remediation plans sent as part of audits
• Participation in the life of the Department through transversal projects (implementation of data analytics, methodological review, training plan, etc.)
Under the supervision of the audit leader and/or the manager, the auditor:
1 – Participate to the delivery of the audit plan by completing the audit engagement in your scope:
Contribute, with a good level of autonomy, the testing activities
Actively participate to the meeting with the auditees
Ensure respect of our methodology
Present to the auditees your issues during exit meeting
2 – Participate to the risk assessment within the audit plan process;
3 – Participate to the issue follow up process with the audit team:
Develop ability to evaluate the relevance of the evidences received during the issue follow up process and gain the needed information while keeping a collaborative and positive relationship with the business.
4 - Participate in operational projects for the Internal Audit department:
Bring his contribution to cross-functional projects as validated with his line manager (local working groups: preparation of the audit plan, coordination with control functions, etc.).
