As part of Technical Insurance & reinsurance department, the intern will participate in the development of management tools, the automation of reporting, and actuarial analysis.
The objective is to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and the production of indicators (reserves, claims, ratios, KPIs, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Creation and improvement of dynamic dashboards (visualisation of claims, reserves, KPIs, trends).
Structuring of the data pipeline: cleaning, transformation, automation (Power BI/Power Query).
Development of VBA scripts to automate recurring reports.
Creation of macros for data extraction, structuring, mapping and cleaning.
Participation in statistical or actuarial studies: claims analysis, RBNS/IBNR provision calculations, development rates, portfolio analyses.
Support for controls, consistency analyses, documentation.
Contribution to modernisation projects (ex: migration Excel → Power BI).
Master’s degree in Finance/Actuarial science/ Applied mathematics/ Data science.
Familiarity with Office/Power BI/R
Ability to analyze and synthesize information into clear, actionable insights,
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset,
Excellent written and verbal communication in English,
Comfortable working in complex, multicultural environments with multiple stakeholders,
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from a fast-paced, high-impact team.
