Key Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • The TechOps Engineers are the cornerstone of success for accelerating Equativ’s regional growth in Japan, working closely with supply and demand clients, as well as with internal Sales, Product, and R&D teams, providing your highly skilled consultations and hands-on technical execution abilities
  • Your day to day will involve helping clients and prospects in designing, capturing, activating, surfacing and analyzing solutions and strategies for growing and optimizing our revenues especially programmatic, as well as being a key partner for the Business, providing key decision-making assistance in strategic demand and partnership projects and activations
  • The TechOps Engineer is a hard-working and self-starting individual and the ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen balance of technical ability, interpersonal skills, industry knowledge and business acumen
  • What You Will Do

  • Onboard, maintain, and grow client and prospect engagement to maximize customer journey, attending major meetings / QBRs / events, and be their trusted advisor. You will be responsible for the growth and success of strategic Publisher accounts in Japan
  • Provide pre and post-sales technical assistance and become a Subject-Matter Expert to support clients in their technological choices
  • Provide problem solving and troubleshooting assistance/investigations to publishers and internal teams related to issues that may appear at any stage of the programmatic chain
  • Liaise with the Product, Analytics, Quality, and other teams to meet client’s needs
  • Identify ways to improve the operational effectiveness of current processes and propose solutions to elevate efficiency
  • Proactively identify revenue opportunities and take ownership to partner with relevant stakeholders
  • Share your knowledge by assessing, coordinating, and providing trainings
  • Work on projects with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility
  • About You

  • Bilingual - English and Japanese
  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Technology or similar technical field of study
  • 4+ years of experience in a Technical role, preferably Ad Tech
  • Experience with ad tech related technologies (JSON, JS, ORTB, APIs, etc.) or technical solutions consulting. Google OB and other server-side implementation and optimization is a plus
  • Knowledge of Adservers & Programmatic Buying and Selling is a plus
  • Familiar with IAB standards like openRTB, Ads.txt, Supply Chain Object, etc is a plus
  • Analytical skills, passion for data crunching/analysis.
  • Experience with data tools and solutions (e.g. Snowflake, SQL, APIs, Tableau, GDS) is a plus
  • OTT/CTV knowledge is a strong plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and good follow-through.
  • Problem-solver and multitasker who remains cool under pressure
