👫  About the team

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is accountable for providing high-quality support to external & internal customers, and organizing all technical operations support. He oversees Equativ business-enabling functions (Technical Operations, Customer Support, Quality, Analytics) with the following main responsibilities:

- Building a scalable organization that optimizes resource allocation and embeds technical expertise at a regional level

- Identifying operational bottlenecks, resolving them, or escalating them to Executive Committee / CEO when appropriate

-Facilitating alignment across the group, and especially between strategic guidance (CSO), commercial execution (CRO) and product / technical capabilities (CPO)

We are looking for an energetic and talented Project Manager to support the COO in the ongoing transformation of his organization. The COO Project Manager will report directly to the COO and will ensure the proper follow-up of the execution of decisions and transformation projects across the COO organization and the entire company, keep the focus on the top priority topics and track performance on behalf of the COO. He/She will keep the COO fully informed on a frequent basis and escalate as need be.

✍️ What you’ll do

  • Monitor COO’s organization transformational and organizational programs, especially the newly designed Technical Operations teams to be implemented in FY24

  • Support the COO in establishing compelling and visual documents to enable moving transformation forward, especially when it comes to Technical Operations Roadmap and new Customer Segmentation rollout

  • Track progress and feedback on various initiatives, and report frequently to the COO friction points identified in the organization

  • Facilitate collaboration and coordination between central and local teams

  • Keep the focus on highly-priority topics and track performance

  • Make sure decisions are properly executed

  • Make meetings as productive as possible ensuring proper agendas, action items and follow-ups

  • Will remain limited but on an exception bases, he/she will represent the COO in specific meetings when need be, convey COO’s voice and decisions in these forums, and collect associated feedback


Preferred experience

  • You hold a Master’s degree in management or business disciplines or are in final year

  • Pragmatic creative thinker: learns quickly, identifies solutions when facing problems, open to change

  • Continuous optimizer: analyzes facts, identifies successes and failures, drives change

  • Solid background in coordinating a variety of priorities in a fast-paced matricial environment

  • Ability to provide well-focused strategic and tactical plan that results in measurable success and better-than-market performance

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Position based preferably in Paris, France (or possibly London, United Kingdom)
