The position

Job description

Epic is looking for its Marketing and Communications Officer reporting to our Marketing and Communications Director, to participate in all marketing & communication efforts globally. The objectives of the marketing and communications team are to grow and feed the Epic brand and thought leadership, to support development (fundraising) efforts and to craft an outstanding and meaningful donor journey.

To meet these challenges, the Marketing and Communications Officer will be part of a team working in partnership with all other Epic departments (Development and fundraising, Programs, and Operations).

The Marketing & Communication Officer will be participating to the following missions :

● Branding activities to raise Epic’s awareness and support fundraising opportunities

● Social media : feed Epic news calendar, content creation and writing of posts

● Relational marketing (CRM, email marketing) : set up and launch of emails campaigns

● Creation and update of Marketing tools (leaflets, corporate presentations, promotional

tools & materials, …)

● Editorial content production with Programs team

● Website content feeding & ongoing optimisation (SEO & UX)

● Participe to new communication materials to deliver Donor journeys and engagement

plans


Preferred experience

● 1-4 years of experience in marketing/communication

● A multitask doer, hands-on but with a strategic mind

● Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and French

● Taste and skills for copyediting and good writing skills

● A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design

● Photoshop/Canva/Indesign skills to adapt existing creative assets

● A team player with the ability to work across diverse and international teams

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

● Demonstrates commitment to Epic’s vision and mission. Ideally knowledge and

experience on issues around nonprofits and philanthropy. Understanding of non profit

donor marketing specifically (vs. corporate marketing) is a plus

● Rigorous, organized and attentive to details

This is a full-time position, based in our Paris or London offices.

Permanent contract (CDI)

Starting date : April 2024

Ticket restaurants and half of travelcard are covered.
