The position

Job description

Within the financial department and reporting to the FP&A Manager, your responsibility will be two-fold: to be the business partner of the Purchasing and Production department, and to provide visibility to the Company’s management on industrial activity. In this context, your mission will be varied:

  • Implementing and monitoring of industrial performance
  • Ensuring timely communication of results; assist in the implementation of a monthly close processes
  • Budget construction and forecast;
  • Providing management and financial tools to operational staff
  • Providing analysis and actionable feedback on inventory and manufacturing variances as well as obsolescence
  • Calculating and setting standard costs and perform cost analysis
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvements and follow-up on corrective action plans
  • Participating in projects launched by the group (SAP ERP implementation; SOX; automation of reporting, etc.)
  • Participating in investment projects and build financial business cases (production increase)
  • Continuous improvement

Preferred experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Graduated in corporate finance or accounting (Master’s degree), with some prior experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment;
  • Quick IT learner and proficient user of Excel who can get up to speed quickly;
  • Ability to manage complex situations and understand the expectations of each of your interlocutors;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with department leaders and managers;
  • Solid knowledge of management and cost accounting principles;
  • Track record of implementing improvement processes;
  • Fluent in English.
