🏠 What do we do ?

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle of recharging. Electra is constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast recharging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and a user experience simplified to the maximum.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Madrid and Munich Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 14,500 charging points by 2030; proud to participate in the energy transition in France and Europe. For cities without noise and pollution!

Your mission

As a Business Development Intern your mission consists in creating partnerships with hotels, restaurants, malls, cinemas, and all car park operators, offering them our multiple services. Your main challenge is to open as many doors as possible in order to help Business Developers convert attractive deals and to map out the best locations possible in Switzerland. You are the face of Electra and the first person meeting our potential partners. 

Your role

  • Help the country manager define the strategy for charging station deployment and identify relevant stakeholders for securing the most promising locations

  • Contacting potential partners, qualifying them and scheduling meetings that you will attend with business developers

  • Convincing your prospects to trust Electra to install an ultra-fast charging station on their land

  • Qualify locations with the use of proprietary tools and several data sets: road traffic data, population density mapping, landowner databases, etc.

  • Using the CRM in order to industrialize your approach (gaining in speed & efficiency)

😎Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics or Engineering

  • You have had a first experience in business development or in a similarly challenging role

  • You have analytical skills and are able to rationalize your approach of good vs bad locations

  • You are autonomous, organized and have a strong team spirit

  • And you are comfortable making contact with new people quickly

  • You are determined, result driven and know how to bounce back from objections

  • You have a desire to develop and learn in a fast-growing start-up 

  • You speak (Swiss) German and English fluently. French or Italian are a bonus 😉

  • You are interested in current energy / environmental topics with a passion for electromobility
