As the Corporate Legal Advisor for the EIP Group, you play a key role in supporting the company’s growth.
You ensure the compliance of our contracts and agreements in an international legal environment, helping to manage risks with our clients, partners, and distributors.
Contribute to the legal framework for our commercial contracts
Assist in building standard contract norms in a highly international context
Assist in ensuring the applicability and compliance of our practices with the various policies of our clients, partners, and distributors, as well as the regulatory environments related to contracts and other processes (escrow agreements, patents, trademarks, insurance, orders, etc.)
Assist in drafting internal policies
Help identify, anticipate, and assess risks and potential disputes
Help identify contractual needs with clients, partners, and distributors
Assist in the negotiation, drafting, and review of agreements throughout the entire contractual lifecycle- from initial client engagement to final execution and contract archiving
Assist in developing training tools for the internal team and in drafting internal policies
Assist in reviewing and enhancing our commercial contracts to ensure they remain current, complaint, and aligned with our business objectives
Assist in consolidating fully executed agreements within the Group and in ensuring the legal library remains current and well organized.
Monitor developments all relevant legal areas and contribute to the enrichment of the company’s legal knowledge base
Assist in maintaining localized contract templates, such as:
End-User License and Support Agreements
Distributor/Reseller/Managed Service Provider Agreements
Non-Disclosure Agreements
Professional Services Agreements
Ensure that licensed software and hardware in contracts are reflected on invoices
Collaborate closely with the Sales Ops teams and Sales administration to ensure our internal policies are properly applied
Contribute to responses to client RFPs regarding legal/security compliance.
Review contract clauses related to data protection and IT security under guidance.
You’ll be great for this role if you have these qualifications:
Minimum education: Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in Business Law with at least 4 years of experience, including:
With experience in an international environment.
Experience in the software / software publishing sector.
Skills:
Fluency in English and French is mandatory
Knowledge of rules and procedures for complex contracts.
Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills.
High level of confidentiality and discretion.
Adaptability, autonomy, professionalism, and availability.
Ability to work cross-functionally and in a project-based mode.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
