Job Description

  • Own and deliver visual design projects that show product and technical concepts.
  • Work with our team to pioneer ways of demonstrating product concepts effectively and spearheading the execution of the outputs.
  • Use our current Design System to create a new simplified Design System to illustrate product concepts through engaging and high-quality UI designs.
  • Leverage animation and video editing skills to create short animations and videos explaining product concepts using simplified UIs, diagrams, or other visual assets. (Please note this is not a UX role).
  • Create rich, detailed, high-quality, and visually exciting outputs as final deliverables for use across the organization.
  • Engage with team members within the R&D organization and assist in creating conceptual sketches, wireframes, and rough illustrations, helping formulate concepts into visual outputs.
  • Participate in discussions with teams, synthesizing given information and/or proactively investigating information to inform the delivery of outputs.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality content and on-time delivery.

Preferred experience

Qualifications

  • Strong background in technical graphic design, specializing in UI design, design systems, animation, and video editing.
  • Demonstrate abilities in technical storytelling and concept visualization with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in design agency, design consultancy, or design department.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Premier Pro and/or After Effects), Figma, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with 3D design software and other illustration tools is advantageous for this role.
  • Preferred degree in design (graphic, industrial, visual communication). Degrees in user experience, human-centered design, multimedia, or architecture will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, with optional knowledge of software concepts and associated technologies.
  • Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 52,136 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
