What you’ll do

As a Software Engineer Intern at Doctolib, you'll get hands
-on experience working on impactful projects right from day one. You’ll be part of a team that empowers healthcare professionals and millions of patients by developing innovative tech solutions.

Your role will include:

• Build and Own Features: You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and ship features that impact real users. You’ll take on ownership of your codebase, from ideation to production, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to solve complex technical challenges and build scalable, secure, and user
  -friendly healthcare tools. You’ll get to work in a multi
  -functional environment where collaboration fuels success.
• Write Clean, Efficient Code: At Doctolib, we care about code quality. You’ll learn to write maintainable, well
  -documented code, following industry best practices in design, testing, and peer review. Be ready to write tests, refactor, and optimize as needed to keep our platform healthy.
• Solve Real
  -World Problems: You’ll contribute to projects that directly enhance patient care, improve doctor
  -patient relationships, and enable practitioners to collaborate securely. You’ll see the immediate impact of your work, helping millions of users get better access to healthcare.

Who you are 

At Doctolib, we’re looking for ambitious, curious, and collaborative interns who are ready to make an impact. Even if you don’t tick every box, we encourage you to apply if you’re excited about healthcare tech and eager to learn.

• Are comfortable with coding in multiple languages and eager to learn our tech stack (Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, React Native — you’ll have plenty of support from your peers to get up to speed).
• Are in your final year of a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and looking for a 6
  -month full
  -time internship.
• Communicate fluently in English, as it’s our working language.

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience with web development or building products in a fast
  -paced environment.
• Have worked on side projects or contributed to open
  -source communities—anything that shows your passion for coding and learning.
