What you’ll do

At Doctolib, our Product Compliance team is at the heart of innovation. We collaborate closely with our Tech & Product teams to develop groundbreaking, pragmatic, and sustainable legal solutions across all our products. We are pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence into our product suite, offering you the chance to work on cutting-edge e-health projects and be part of Doctolib's transformative journey.

As our Lead Legal Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our approach to AI and digital matters, with a specific focus on intellectual property, IT contracts, and platform compliance matters. Your mission will be to ensure our innovations are built on solid legal foundations.You’ll work hand-in-hand with Product, Tech, and Business teams to support our rapid growth and deliver pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage strategic  IT and Digital projects ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all our markets.
  • Act as the go-to expert for procurement  contracts, negotiating with suppliers and partners.
  • Oversee and protect Doctolib’s intellectual property portfolio (trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, open source, etc.), guiding innovation and risk management.
  • Take full ownership of the drafting and regular updates of our Terms & Conditions, working closely with the whole legal and product teams to capture any and all innovation needs
  • Advise on various data protection, privacy, IT and Digital topicss.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, translating complex legal issues into actionable, business-friendly advice.
  • Support and coach the Legal team, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Who you are

You could be our next team mate if you: 

  • Are a qualified lawyer with 8+ years of experience in IP, IT law, procurement, and,data/privacy—ideally in a fast-paced tech or digital environment.
  • Have a track record of driving and negotiating complex contracts, especially IT and procurement deals.
  • Expert on Digital Platforms regulations (e.g. DSA)
  • Possess a good knowledge in European and local data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.).
  • Have excellent communication skills and business acumen—you know how to make legal issues understandable and actionable.
  • Are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as in teams.
  • Are fluent in French & English (German is a plus).

  • Have experience with European healthcare regulations or digital health products.
  • Are comfortable with agile methodologies and digital transformation.
  • Have managed compliance in an international setting.
  • Understand the business impact of compliance decisions.
  • Are passionate about improving healthcare access and safety.
