We are looking for a skilled Team Manager to:

• Oversee two software development teams: the Microservice Team, consisting of 3 members, and the Frontend Component Library Team, comprising 3 members.
• Play a pivotal role in our software delivery process.
• Lead a team of developers, testers, and DevOps engineers, ensuring close cooperation with key business stakeholders to understand their requirements.
• Support the translation of these requirements into development tickets and oversee their delivery and implementation.
• Be responsible for mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative team culture that emphasizes best practices in software development.

• Proven experience in managing software development teams including Agile approach
• Business consulting, strategy development, and project management expertise
• The ability to bridge the gap between the technical and business aspects of projects
• User experience with software delivery tools, such as Jira and Confluence
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Great communication skills
• Advanced English

Hi, my name is Jiri and I’m a subdomain manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2004, when I took a role as Senior application support specialist in the Express Web applications support team. In 2006 I moved to a management role and became a manager of this support team for 14 years. I was always enjoying this job because working in DHL has never been boring and it has been bringing new challenges, personal development and opportunities to meet a lot of inspiring people from different cultures. In 2018 I moved from ops to development area for dhl.com platform and Express sales. In 2023 our organization made a big shift and came with truly devops approach fully integrating development and ops area together. Since that time the team is providing end to end delivery from idea to implementation. Looking forward to having you onboard!
