Presentation of the position

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst passionate about IT to support the design and deployment of our Agile Data Warehouse Automation Platform within our Data team. As a key member of the project, your role will involve analyzing the client’s business requirements & processes, designing their business model, assist in the design of their database architecture and proposing solutions to provide business insights.

You, with the help of your team, will design solutions who transform data into information relevant to business.

The goal will be to create Agile Data Warehouse Automation Platforms that can restitute relevant and consistent information that can answer different departments, teams or hierarchy levels needs within the client organization. The scope of skills, technologies and industries you’ll get to explore is huge and the team will be there to support you on your way.

Your tasks will be :

On a day to day basis, you will go on learning and contribute to the deliverables of the project by carrying out complex and varied activities including, typically:

• Designing high-quality solutions with the right balance between coupling and cohesion principles

• Designing high-quality and insightful visualization of information

• Bringing expertise on the data modelling methodology and information restitution

• Identifying potential issues and suggesting original solutions

• Transmitting the developed application towards the operational team

• Designing efficient test scenario and processes

Required Qualifications:

• Master degree in Business Engineering

• 3-6+ years of experience (Consultancy or Auditing is a plus)

• Functional Analysis skills to develop requirements and specifications

• Business Analysis skills to understand and restitute client business concepts

• Project Management skills (planning, resource allocation, team management…)

• good knowledge of SQL

• Practical experience with a Dashboarding Software (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview/Qliksense, Toucan Toco)

• Ability to determine the business needs of application users

• Ability to design and build a business intelligence system

• OLAP principals such as dimensional analysis, star schemas, aggregation and query creation
