Deloitte University Europe Middle East & Africa (DU EMEA) supports professional, leadership and industry development through digital, virtual and in-person development experiences in a leader-led global curriculum. We are now hiring a Reporting Specialist to join our team.

The Reporting Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Project Management Office, Technology & Process Team by leading the functional design, business and data analysis, technical implementation, and documentation of Deloitte University EMEA’s data management and reporting solutions. This role will support the Process & Operational Excellence Manager to deliver on reporting needs.

Role description

Strategic partnership, analysis & solution design

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with our Leaders to develop an advanced understanding of DU EMEA’s business, reporting channels, processes, and technologies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of reporting needs across functions and teams; proactively identify gaps and recommend strategic improvements to reporting capabilities.
  • Coordinate with report requesters to define impactful metrics and visuals through workshops and consultations.
  • Guide internal data providers in identifying and validating relevant data sources; perform analyses to recommend effective metrics aligned with organizational needs.
  • Oversee maintenance of the data catalogue and documentation of data sets and metrics.

Technical implementation, governance & innovation

  • Lead configuration, testing, and delivery of prioritized reports in Tableau; ensure high availability and performance of published reports.
  • Collaborate on troubleshooting and managing run issues with data providers and consultants as needed.
  • Oversee monitoring and review of access rights to sensitive reports/data to ensure compliance and security.
  • Recommend updates to reporting processes/tools, assessing impact on existing Tableau reports.
  • Collaborate with the Process & Operational Excellence Manager to improve reporting formats, data, and workflows.
  • Deploy automation solutions
  • Design and implement live cloud database connections for real-time data integration, utilising coding skills to ensure seamless real-time data integration and availability.
  • Drive integration of AI technologies; maintain up-to-date knowledge of technologies/best practices in data processing and automation

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analytics or related role.
  • Experience with report creation tools (ideally Tableau).
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Project management/business-analysis skills.
  • Experience with data management/database architecture.
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and report generation.

Education & Languages

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, STEM or related field; master’s degree preferable.
  • Languages: English – fluent; French is an advantage.

Additional Information

  • Location: Flexible – working remotely or from any Deloitte office location. Frequent required travel to Deloitte University EMEA Paris facility in Bailly-Romain Villiers.
