The position

Job description

Delicorner is looking for its future Head of Operations EMEA / COO

Your mission is crucial : to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations in France and EMEA - coaching managers and making sure that the field operations run in the best way possible to foster flourishing teams and satisfied customers, while ensuring our impact and margin’s goals are met, no less than that :) 

You’ll be actively involved in Delicorner’s crucial present and future challenges:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating on Delicorner’s strategy development with the founders, and then ensuring its implementation while communicating objectives to the teams.

  • Operational & Financial Performance: Utilizing data for decision-making, establishing and tracking KPIs, optimizing our operating margins

  • Process Optimization: Defining and maintaining our processes.

  • Operational challenges: Addressing day-to-day operational challenges (examples for 2024: opening ten cities in EMEA, the French Olympics, implementing a new ERP…).

You’ll manage, coach, and nurture the following teams:

  • Logistics - 1 manager + 5 people

  • Sourcing and Purchasing - 1 manager + 3 people 

  • Partners - 1 person

  • Admin - 1 manager + 2 people

And you’ll be closely collaborating with the following teams:

  • Customer Success - 8 people

  • Sales - 9 people

  • IT & Product - 5 people

  • Founders - 2 people


Preferred experience

Leadership Skills with a hands-on approach: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a large cross-functional team in a logistics company, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Proven ability to be hands-on, diving into details when necessary while also maintaining a strategic perspective, in alignment with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Operations Expertise & Process Excellence: Extensive experience in BtoB logistic services, with a strong understanding of purchasing, financial management, and scaling abroad. A knack for defining and optimizing processes to drive efficiency and maintain high-quality service delivery.

Organization Skills: Meticulous and highly organized, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for Innovation: Inclination towards embracing technology and innovation to enhance operational effectiveness and customer experience.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English is essential to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team and stakeholders.

Recruitment process

Recruiting Process : 

  • 30 min interview with one of the founders of Delicorner

  • 2 hours on site : live case study + meeting with both founders

  • 1 to 2 hours on site : meeting with the managers
