The position

Job description

As Social Media and Content Manager for Deezer LatAm, you will play a critical role in boosting our presence, engagement, and cultural relevance across social platforms. This is a hybrid role that combines agency management and strategic planning with hands-on content creation and ideation.

You will be responsible for shaping and executing Deezer’s social media strategy in the region, ensuring our brand is not only visible but also meaningful in the conversations that matter. You’ll manage agencies and creators, design campaigns that capture attention, and produce content that resonates with music fans across platforms.

This role requires a creative yet analytical mindset: someone who can ideate fresh social-first concepts using Deezer’s content lenses (artists, playlists, fan culture, entertainment), while also aligning those ideas with performance goals such as reach, engagement, and follower growth.

What you will do:

  1. Social Media Strategy

    • Build and execute a multi-platform strategy (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, emerging channels) to grow Deezer’s social presence in LatAm.

    • Define content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, and business targets.

    • Monitor and engage with fan conversations, responding in Deezer’s tone of voice.

       

  2. Content Creation & Ideation

    • Lead ideation of social-first creative concepts rooted in Deezer’s content lenses (music, artists, playlists, fandom, culture).

    • Oversee the production of high-quality content (short-form video, motion graphics, carousels, memes, live activations).
       

  3. Creators & Influencers

    • Identify, brief, and collaborate with creators, influencers, and artists that connect authentically with Deezer’s target audiences.

    • Ensure creator activations are measurable and tied to performance goals.
       

  4. Agency & External Partner Management

    • Manage relationships with social media agencies, content studios, and freelance creators.

    • Provide clear briefs, oversee production, ensure deadlines and brand alignment.
       

  5. Analytics & Optimization

    • Define KPIs for social (reach, engagement rate, share of voice, follower growth). Track, analyze, and report performance with actionable insights.


Preferred experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or digital communications.

  • Proven track record in content ideation and production for social platforms.

  • Experience managing agencies, creators, or influencer programs.

  • Background in entertainment, streaming, or culturally driven brands is a plus

  • Creative thinker with strong storytelling and copywriting skills.

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, formats, and cultural trends.

  • Strong eye for design, video, and visual communication.

  • Analytical mindset: able to connect content with KPIs and performance.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
