The position

Job description

The Partnership Integration Department is focused on pioneering B2B features and hardware development.You'll be a crucial part of our dedicated Android Team, whose mission is to build our sophisticated B2B SDK and create best-in-class applications across diverse platforms, including Android TV, Automotive OS, and Wear OS, as well as integrating features for Android Auto, Chromecast, and Google Assistant into our mobile app.

What you will do:

  • Design, implement, and refine robust business logic within our core B2B Android SDK.
  • Develop engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our applications across various Android platforms (TV, Auto, Wear, Mobile)
  • Act as a technical point of contact, expertly supporting external partners during their integration of our SDKs
  • Actively contribute to code reviews and technical design discussions, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Interact closely with the Product Owners and the design/UX team to understand the product requirements and business needs
  • Collaborate closely with the Android Engineering and QA teams and help to improve the production process with innovative solutions and tools 

Preferred experience

This role is excellent for a person with:

  • A solid professional experience in native Android application development
  • Deep expertise in Kotlin and a comprehensive understanding of the Android SDK, its APIs, and component lifecycles across different form factors
  • Proven ability to apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture patterns, and the KISS principle to design robust and scalable software
  • A quality-driven mindset with a strong focus on writing clean, testable, and easily maintainable code
  • Humility and an "open to feedback" posture
  • Strong team-oriented collaboration skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both French and English.
