Job description

Deezer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campaign Manager to oversee the launch and management of direct / programmatic advertising campaigns (Audio, Display and Video). The Campaign Manager will be responsible for driving the success of advertising campaigns, optimizing performance, and contributing to the development of the company's programmatic media strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of programmatic and digital media, hands-on experience with demand and supply side platforms, and the ability to leverage data to target audiences effectively.

What you will do:

  • Create and manage direct and programmatic advertising campaigns, targeting strategies and budget
  • Lead and oversee programmatic and direct campaigns, ensuring effective optimization of bids, audience segments, geo and demographic targets, and creative elements
  • Manage campaigns to ensure budgets are utilized effectively, and tactics align with relevant objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop hypotheses and experimentations to drive incremental media performance improvements and overall growth
  • Contribute to the development of best practices to enhance work quality and efficiency
  • Design and implement private and preferred inventory marketplaces

Preferred experience

This role is excellent for a person with:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the digital media space, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in buying media using platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Hawk, Xandr, etc., either in an in-house or agency programmatic team / trading desk.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; relevant industry credentials or certifications (e.g., IAB Programmatic Certification, Campaign Manager Certification, GA, etc)
  • Languages: French and English are mandatory, a third language is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-experts and cross-functional stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of digital media, including programmatic, platform capabilities, targeting opportunities, and bidding strategies to achieve performance goals
  • Knowledge of the digital media supply chain and expertise in supply path optimization
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset with a keen interest in staying updated on current events, media trends, and category/consumer trends that may impact Deezer's business
