As a Senior HR Specialist, you will play a key role with significant autonomy and a broad scope of responsibilities. You'll be at the heart of our local challenges, having a strong influence while working closely with our HQ team in France. Your mission is to take action and strengthen all HR-related activities and local processes.
Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, and offboarding.
Ensure accurate processing of HR documents and data, liaising with talent acquisition, payroll, and project management teams.
Support the execution of key HR processes like performance reviews, training and development, and absenteeism management.
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and requests from employees.
Improve HR processes and procedures to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
Serve as a local legal expert, advising managers and HR Business Partners on individual situations, assessing risks, proposing solutions, and managing difficult discussions and disciplinary actions.
Manage all processes related to absenteeism and local legal obligations.
Handle relations with elected employee representatives.
Act as an HR manager on the ground, staying attuned to the team's pulse, informing the right people at the right time, and making local decisions while keeping your ecosystem informed.
Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in an HR-related position, ideally in a startup or tech environment.
Thorough knowledge of HR processes, experience with HR systems, and expertise in Dutch law and regulations.
Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
A pragmatic, organized, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
