Job description

We are looking for an impact-minded Product Manager to join our global Gifting Platform product, which sits at the core of Decathlon's gift cards and rewards programs. 

This role is crucial in driving the growth of global gift cards and rewards programs  (loyalty vouchers, 2nd life vouchers, goodwill, commercial vouchers ) to drive people to the Decathlon ecosystem and enhance loyalty.  

Your work will directly impact our ability to provide seamless gifting experiences for our end customers and enhance financial insights for the organization and internal stakeholders. The scope is massive: 60+ countries, 25M prepaid cards activated yearly and 500M EUR in payments volume on prepaid cards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the development of scalable (platform) product features that optimize user experience, drive adoption, and increase revenue generation for Decathlon’s financial products.
  • Work on the Gifting Platform to integrate payment service providers (PSP) to issue prepaid cards. Work on payment security, reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Improve monitoring, reliability, and the scalability of the Gifting Platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Decathlon to identify key business opportunities (B2B & B2C gift cards leaders, Customer Growth, OnePay, eCommerce, Cash-TILL In-Store)
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Data Analyst, Product Design and stakeholders across the company to define and ship products that solve problems for our customer and for Decathlon
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging platform thinking to drive innovation on financial products
  • Define KPIs for your product and be responsible for its success through agile delivery processes (roadmap, OKRs, clear requirements, etc) 

What You’ll Bring:  

Required

  • A track record for shipping large-scale, successful software platform products
  • Experience with 3rd party integration (External API integration)
  • 4+ years of product management experience involving payments or financial products at a global tech company
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in product discovery and product delivery techniques
  • Data driven and excellent understanding of Cost vs Revenue KPIs
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, and basic technical understanding of how large-scale systems are built

Preferred

  • Payments and/or fintech experience 
  • B2B Product Management experience
  • Based in Lille or Paris
