Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Property Accountant to be part of the ongoing transformation of our asset management team. Based in Lisbon, this permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international, fast-paced environment, where you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our real estate portfolio.

💼 Your missions 

  • Develop effective working relationships with the operational departments, asset and property managers, accounting teams and other key business stakeholders.

  • Support asset management team with administrative tasks AR and AP tasks

  • Manage tenant billing for charges and rents

  • Support the annual service charge reconciliations and ensure that agreed deadlines are met

  • Follow the unpaid rents and manage bad dept procedures and reporting

  • Develop into a Subject Matter Expert in Property Accounting processes and act as backup to other future property accountants.

  • Use Yardi software for property accounting and financial reporting tasks.

👤Qualifications and experience


Diploma and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property accounting or real estate accounting.

  • Experience reviewing bank statements, preparing reconciliations, and investigating variances

  • Experience with YARDI ERP is a great asset

  • Experience working with commercial and multi-tenant properties

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.

  • Fluent in English

  • French knowledge is a plus
