ABOUT THE TEAM

Based in our European headquarters in Geneva, the eCommerce team drives the online business performance of Columbia and Sorel across the region.

Working closely with cross-functional teams — Digital Technology (Portland & India), Logistics & Distribution (Cambrai), Consumer Care (Strasbourg), and the Business functions (marketing, content, buying) — the team ensures our consumers enjoy a seamless experience, from browsing our websites to receiving their orders at home.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As our new eCommerce Operations Specialist, you will take on a role at the heart of Columbia’s eCommerce acceleration across Europe. Created to support our ambitious eCommerce growth, this position is about ensuring that projects with strong technical and operational components are delivered seamlessly, while also structuring the processes that will sustain our long-term success.

Acting as the main connector between our business teams in Geneva, our Digital Technology counterparts in Portland and India, our distribution hub in Cambrai, and our Consumer Care team in Strasbourg, you will be responsible for keeping the entire eCommerce funnel — from order to delivery — running smoothly.

Your scope will include:

  • Leading key projects such as the integration of new countries, the launch of new payment solutions, new logistics partners or the opening of a new Distribution Center.
  • Translating business needs into operational requirements and coordinating stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Bringing structure where processes are missing, ensuring clarity, accountability, and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
  • Monitoring system performance and testing new implementations, with a focus on operational reliability during seasonal peaks (e.g. Black Friday, promotional campaigns).

This is a transversal role with high visibility and impact, offering both the opportunity to shape our eCommerce operations and to directly contribute to a seamless experience for our consumers.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

  • Act as the main interface between business, logistics, consumer care, and technology teams.
  • Translate business needs into operational requirements and verify feasibility.
  • Structure and formalize processes to streamline project delivery and daily operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Perform testing after technical implementations to guarantee functionality.
  • Monitor and optimize the end-to-end eCommerce funnel, from purchase to delivery.
  • Provide clear communication and alignment between stakeholders across multiple locations.
  • Ensure operational readiness during business peaks and promotional periods.

YOU ARE

  • A natural problem-solver who enjoys connecting dots between teams and ensuring things run smoothly.
  • Determined and proactive, you don’t wait for information to come to you — you go and get it.
  • Structured and organized, able to build frameworks and processes where they are missing.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and functions.
  • Motivated by having a direct impact on consumer experience and business performance.

YOU HAVE

  • Solid experience in eCommerce (retailer or brand side) in a project management or operations role.
  • Exposure to both business and operations environments (logistics, transport, consumer care).
  • Strong knowledge of the digital eCommerce ecosystem and the tools behind it (Salesforce, SAP or similar).
  • Demonstrated project management skills: structuring, planning, coordinating, and delivering.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams.
