The position

Job description

As a Property Specialist Intern at Cohabs, you will gain practical, on-site experience managing renovation projects, interacting with suppliers and general contractors (GCs), and handling construction site reporting. You will be proactive in identifying and solving issues on-site to ensure smooth project execution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Gain hands-on experience by overseeing daily construction site activities and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and GCs, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials and services.

  • Conduct regular site visits, preparing detailed reports on the status of ongoing projects and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Proactively address issues that arise on-site, working to find solutions quickly and efficiently.

  • Track project progress, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Support the implementation of maintenance schedules and ensure tasks are completed to high standards.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure design and operational standards are maintained.

  • Identify and propose proactive solutions to mitigate potential project risks.

  • Assist in the documentation of site developments and ensure accurate reporting for key stakeholders.

  • Support the integration of feedback from stakeholders into ongoing project plans.
