The position

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic Partner: Support our operational teams with sharp financial reporting and actionable insights, challenging them (nicely!) when costs go off track and helping find solutions.

  • Budget Maestro: Assist in building and monitoring annual budgets and forecasts while running variance analysis to keep us aligned and on target.

  • Profitability Detective: Dive deep into financial data to spot optimization opportunities, control costs, and boost profitability.

  • Boardroom Storyteller: Prepare clear, compelling presentations and materials for management reviews and board meetings.

  • Closing Time Pro: Take part in month-end and year-end closings, reconcile accounts, monitor accruals and provisions, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Audit Ally: Ensure external audits run smoothly by providing timely, accurate information.

  • Process Innovator: Contribute to the improvement and automation of financial systems and processes, making everything run faster and smarter.


Preferred experience

What we’re looking for:

  • A Master’s Degree in business engineering, finance, economics, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis and/or controlling.

  • A sharp analytical mind with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • A challenging yet constructive mindset, you ask the tough questions but always with a positive attitude.

  • Autonomy & curiosity, you’re eager to learn, take initiative, and drive things forward.

  • A true team player, able to connect with colleagues across different teams.

  • Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills to handle tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills in English & French, both spoken and written.

  • Advanced Excel mastery and a good command of Business Intelligence tools.
