We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Product team in France on a 5 month fixed-term contract (CDD) to cover a maternity leave. (start date january 2026)
What does a Product Designer at CoderPad do?
CoderPad Product Designers play a critical role in shaping seamless, intuitive, and powerful experiences empower technical teams to hire with confidence and better the technical interview process for all. You will partner closely with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to define user problems, explore creative solutions, and deliver beautiful and functional UI/UX from conception through launch.
This role reports to the VP of Product.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with PMs, Designers and broader product development team to create UI/UX solutions that meaningfully solve user problems.
- Push for exceptional user experience, visual clarity, and design consistency; own your area of the product.
- Conduct or partner on UX research to uncover user needs and opportunities.
- Lead UX workshops with customers to explore problem framing and co-design solutions.
- Produce and maintain design deliverables including wireframes, storyboards, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and fellow Designers to deliver features from concept to launch.
- Use analytics, research insights, and user feedback to iterate and refine designs.
What you should bring:
- 3+ years of product design experience, ideally working on complex SaaS or enterprise products.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong problem-solving, UX strategy, and polished UI design.
- Strong proficiency in Figma. Up-to-date with new Figma features.
- Ability to move fluidly between low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Comfort conducting your own UX research and synthesizing user insights into actionable design decisions.
- Experience in responsive web design, user-centered design methodologies, usability, and accessibility best practices (a strong plus)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and common UI frameworks (a strong plus).
- Fluency in English. We collaborate and work in English on a daily basis.
- A collaborative, ego-free mindset and a willingness to think creatively to solve complex problems.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-moving startup environment—proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented.
