Job description

Job Title:  Business Development Manager Fairs and Events

Job Duties:  Clasquin USA, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a Business Development Manager Fairs and Events to coordinate activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meetings, large events, or conventions in the U.S and abroad.
 
Job responsibilities and duties include:
•   Responsible for preparing & coordinating international shipments for local & international exhibitions.
•   Coordinate with the team responsible for the successful delivery of exhibition goods (Conferences and    Events). 
•   Build new relationships with potential customers (France and USA).
•   To qualify and generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on Exhibition shipments between France and the USA, specific Industries, Areas / Territories, National Key Accounts, Special Products, and New Markets
•   To attend customer events, exhibitions, and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about Clasquin industry solutions.
•   To align with the Customer Excellence Team when onboarding new customers and review regularly

This position does not supervise other employees


Preferred experience

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing or any related field of study and 5 Year(s) of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept no degree, plus at least seven (7) years of experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.
 
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following technology/tools:
-CargoWise,
-Workday,
-Webcargo or similar airfreight pricing tools,
-Adobe,
-Microsoft Office tools (word, excel, teams, powerpoint)
 
Travel: The worker may need to travel abroad and locally to complete the duties of this position. Domestic travel: 20%, International travel: 30% (Approx. duration of travel: 1-2 weeks)
