Chargemap is a French company that facilitates the charging of electric vehicles through innovative products:
A free mobile application, already used and praised by millions of drivers in Europe;
A payment solution for accessing and paying for charging on a network of European charging stations;
A software solution for businesses to manage the charging of their employees (at the company, at public stations, or at home);
A solution for charging station networks, giving them access to feedback from electric vehicle drivers to optimize their services.
We are 100 passionate people, based in Strasbourg, and convinced that electromobility is a major lever for the energy transition. Chargemap is profitable, self-financed, and we want to continue our development ambitiously and organically.
In a context of strong growth and organizational restructuring, we are creating the position of Chief Revenue Officer to transform and structure Chargemap’s revenue growth.
As a member of the Executive Committee and reporting directly to Yoann, our CEO, your mission will be to:
Build and Develop the Revenue Strategy
You are responsible for the coherence of our revenue strategy across all our offers (BtoC, Business, Partners, etc.). You manage the entire sales revenue cycle, from acquisition to customer retention. This responsibility involves designing our commercial offers in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, create our revenue projections with Finance, and optimizing our segmentation and pricing.
You manage the performance of our entire pipeline by continuously analyzing our key metrics (win rate, sales cycle, ARR growth) and adjusting our acquisition and retention strategies. Your decisions are based on a fine understanding of the electric mobility market and its regulatory developments to anticipate growth opportunities.
You prioritize between our different growth levers: geographical expansion, customer base, partnerships, business development. You also optimize investments and define new business models that will accelerate our growth.
Jointly Develop the company’s overall and long-term strategy
You develop growth strategies directly with the CEO, Yoann. You also participate in Chargemap’s strategic decisions alongside the COMEX (COO, CTO, HRD, CFO).
Your role is to bring the revenue perspective into all strategic decisions : product choices, tech investments, recruitment, financing. You ensure inter-role communication to guarantee the alignment of all teams on revenue objectives.
You translate the company’s overall strategy into concrete and measurable revenue actions. You are the interface between Chargemap’s long-term vision and its daily commercial execution.
Manage Our Teams and Pilot Strategic Expansion
You orchestrate our entire commercial operation by providing the vision and strategic direction to our teams in France, international, and partnerships. Relying on your direct reports: Tiphanie our CMO, Benjamin our Sales Director (DirCo), Justine our International Manager, and Pierre our Partnership Manager, you ensure the consistency of our revenue approach at the international level while developing synergies between our different growth channels.
Your leadership show by your ability to intervene directly in strategic negotiations and complex deals that shape our growth trajectory, as well as with the teams you manage.
You develop the progressive empowerment of teams by providing them with the necessary tools and frameworks, while managing budgets and team responsibilities to maximize operational efficiency.
The salary will consist of a fixed and a variable component with a 70/30 distribution.
Joining us also means having access to:
The possibility of teleworking up to 4 days per week after a training period;
A sustainable mobility package up to €300/year to promote soft mobilities (cycling, carpooling, etc.);
Restaurant Vouchers at €8 via SWILE;
Full coverage for family health insurance (ALAN)
Incentives to switch to an electric vehicle (Chargemap & Mister EV products, shared rental electric vehicle at €1/day);
Training in the electric mobility environment (vehicle, charging station, ecosystem, etc.);
A flexible framework where your creativity can fully express itself;
New offices located in the new Cronenbourg eco-district in Strasbourg.
Beyond titles, we are looking for a B2B commercial leader with several decades of experience who not only has a proven track record in international expansion but, critically, also possesses imperative experience in a scale-up/startup environment (growing from 50 to 300+ people). You are familiar with the SaaS and tech world, with a strong interest in cleantech and, ideally, electric mobility.
Your approach is fundamentally data-driven: you are proficient with CRM/CDP tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), marketing automation, and data analysis to drive performance. You also possess the necessary financial skills for forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis. Knowledge of the electric mobility ecosystem (CPO, MSP, regulations) would be a major asset.
Your core belief is in leadership and ownership: you have the ability not only to establish a clear strategic vision but also to translate it into rigorous operational execution that changes established practices. You demonstrate outstanding adaptability and composed management of uncertainty in a context of hyper-growth.
Your role will make you the key interface for the CEO, the teams, and certain key partners in France and internationally; excellent communication in both French and English is therefore essential.
Finally, your experience includes managing large teams with a focus on managing managers: you know how to delegate, empower, and develop the leaders under your responsibility.
We will pay particular attention to the cover letter explaining how your experience in B2B scale-ups will propel us to the next stage of our international growth.
We follow the process below:
