Job description

Cardif is a part of the French BNP Paribas. Their starry logo is well known to many thanks to their sponsorship of the most prestigious tennis tournaments. And their goals are stellar as well – to protect their clients in the case of sudden life-changing events such as loss of income due to loss of employment or long-term illness.

In the Czech Republic, the company has two branches – BNP Paribas Cardif Pojišťovna (insurance company) and BNP Paribas Cardif Services. The former branch cooperates primarily with banks that offer their products to the customers. Their chief discipline is the payment protection insurance, and they were one of the pioneers of this type of insurance in the Czech Republic.

We are looking for a 2 .NET developers ( medior and senior ), responsible maintaining and further development of .NET applications. Primary responsibilities will be to design and develop requested applications and to support applications running in production.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain C# code
  • Perform documented unit tests
  • Support of testing and production deployment
  • Analysis of reported bugs and issues
  • Help maintain code quality and follow sw development methodology

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of C# programming experience
  • WinForms app development experience
  • WebServices knowledge (WCF, WebAPI (Soap, Rest))
  • .NET Framework 4.7+ knowledge
  • .NET Core or .NET5+ knowledge
  • MS SQL Server, T-SQL knowledge
  • English and Czech language (written and spoken)
